Clear authority
A label or publisher can evidence the relevant composition, master, lyric, performance, voice, and likeness rights or mark them out of scope.
Choose one work you administer. Evaluate how your team can handle a licensing request, record creator terms, and follow approval through to publication and reported payment.
Pilot record for one work
Every named party approves what the case publishes.
The best case also has a willing requester. A good pilot has five things in place before work starts. Each one becomes part of the public record.
A label or publisher can evidence the relevant composition, master, lyric, performance, voice, and likeness rights or mark them out of scope.
The work or recording has an ISWC, a song code from The MLC, ISRC, or another durable registry-backed key.
A separate producer, developer, agency, or AI company intends a bounded use and will report what it publishes.
The creator participates in disclosure decisions and approves every public reference to their name, work, receipt, and payment.
An external provider can handle payment and payout duties while Clef records final evidence and arithmetic.
Your team can install and administer Clef itself, or have Clef set it up in your infrastructure and hand it over to your administrators.
Pilot organizations receive 50% off Clef’s standard setup fee for the agreed scope. We quote the standard fee and discounted price for the same agreed work. Hosting and ongoing services are priced separately.
Compare setup optionsEvery named party approves the exact information to publish. Contracts, personal details and commercial terms remain accessible to the authorized parties. The public receipt is signed separately with its agreed disclosure scope.
